Watermelon Sorbet!


Is there anything better then homemade sorbet on a hot summer day?!? This sorbet is so refreshing, healthy, and light. It is the perfect healthy treat and so easy to make! Watermelon has many health benefits. It is high in vitamin C and A, is loaded with nutrients, it can help to improve heart health, may lower inflammation, and can help to keep you hydrated.


Serves: 1 (Double the recipe for more)

Ingredients:

-2 1/2 cups chopped seedless watermelon (frozen)

-Juice from 1/2 lime

-1 tablespoon honey

-6 tablespoons cold water (you may need more)


Next Step:

-Chop up your watermelon into bite size pieces.

-Lay flat on a parchment covered baking sheet and freeze.

-Once frozen, add the watermelon to your blender.

-Then add juice from 1/2 lime and 1 tablespoon of honey.

-Add 3 tablespoons of cold water and blend.

-Add more water if needed to blend into a smooth sorbet.

-Garnish with fresh mint.

-Serve immediately and ENJOY!!
