Have I ever mentioned that Chocolate Chip Cookies are my favorite sweet treat to eat?!? With the holidays approaching, I wanted to share my favorite recipe.
This chocolate chip cookie recipe is so delicious and the perfect balance between chewy and crisp. As a bonus, they are oozing with dark chocolate chips! This easy to make recipe only takes 20 minutes from start to finish. Happy Holidays and ENJOY!! xo
Ingredients:
-1/2 cup salted butter (softened, not melted)
-1/2 cup dark brown sugar
-1/2 cup granulated sugar
-1 egg
-1 teaspoon vanilla
-1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
-1/4 teaspoon baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Next Step:
-Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-In a large bowl using a hand or stand mixer, combine the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
-Then add in the egg and vanilla and mix to combine.
-In a small bowl add in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to combine and then pour over the wet ingredients.
-Mix until combined. (Don't over mix)
-Pour in the chocolate chips and stir to combine.
-Scoop out the dough with a small scooper and place on your baking sheet.
-Bake for 9-11 minutes. Be sure not to over bake. (Bake until the bottom turns a light golden brown)
-Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack and let them rest for 10 minutes before eating.
