Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a great week. Today I decided to make a light and refreshing cocktail...Tequila Sunset! It is a combination of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, tequila, and a splash of grenadine. It is so pretty to look at and tastes delicious!!! XO

Prep time: 5 minutes Serves: 1

Ingredients:

-2 oz Tequilla

-4 oz fresh squeezed grapefruit juice (I used 1 1/2 grapefruits)

-1/2 tablespoon Grenadine

-Garnish with maraschino cherries and a grapefruit slice

-Ice

Next Step:

-Squeeze the juice from the grapefruits with a citrus juicer or with your hands. (Be sure to remove any seeds)

-Pour 4 oz of fresh grapefruit juice into a shaker.

-Add 2 oz of tequila.

-Add in ice and shake for 30 seconds.

-Add a large ice cube to your glass.

-Pour the tequila/grapefruit juice over the ice.

-Then add 1/2 tablespoon of grenadine. (You will see it settle to the bottom of your glass)

-Garnish with cherries and a grapefruit slice.

-Serve and ENJOY!!
