Sweet Potato Cajun Fries!

Is there anything better than baked cajun sweet potato fries!?! These fries are so delicious! They are the perfect side dish, appetizer, or snack. They are quick to put together and after they are tossed in all of the ingredients, you just bake them until cooked and crispy! I love making these as a side for happy hour and BBQ's. Sweet potatoes are a great source of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and help to support your immune system.

Ingredients:

-2 large sweet potatoes (sliced or crinkle cut/skin on)

-2 tablespoons of olive oil

-1 1/4 teaspoon paprika

-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

-1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

-1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

-1 teaspoon dried oregano

-1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

-1/2 teaspoon corse sea salt

Next Step:

-Preheat oven to 400 F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

-In a large bowl drizzle the olive oil all over the sliced potatoes.

-Then add in the paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, ground pepper, oregano, and thyme. (Wait to add the salt until they are finished baking.) Stir to combine.

-Add the sweet potato fries to the baking sheet and spread around. You don't want them too close together or they will steam.

-Bake for 20 minutes. Take out and flip them.

-Bake for another 15-18 minutes.

-Take out and sprinkle with sea salt.

-Serve with a side or ketchup and ENJOY!!
