Raspberry Crumble Tart!!


This raspberry crumble tart is so delicious!! It is the perfect treat to have this Valentine's Day. It has a crisp oatmeal crumble crust with smooth raspberry jam in the middle. It is topped off with more crumble on top! This tart is always a big hit when served for dessert or at parties. It also pairs perfect with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!


Prep time: 8 minutes Cook time: 30-35 minutes Rest time: 90 minutes-2 hours

Ingredients:

-1 stick of butter (softened at room temperature)

-1/3 cup packed brown sugar

-1/2 cup granulated sugar

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-1 cup and 2 tablespoons of flour

-1 cup of whole rolled oats (not instant or quick cooking oats)

-1/8 teaspoon salt

-8 oz of seedless raspberry jam


Next Step:

-Preheat oven to 350 F and line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.

-In a bowl with a stand or hand mixer, mix the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

-Then add in the vanilla extract.

-Add in the flour and salt and continue to mix.

-Add in the oats and mix with a spoon.

-You will see the crumble form.

-*Set aside 1 cup of the crumble.

-Add the rest of the crumble to the 8x8 baking pan and push/pack down your oat mixture to form an even layer.

-Add the raspberry jam and gently spread out over the packed crumble.

-Work the remaining crumble with your hand to get bigger crumbs.

-Then sprinkle on the remaining crumble mixture on top of the raspberry jam.

-Bake for 30-35 minutes until the edges turn a light golden color. In my oven it takes 31 minutes.

-Let rest for 90 minutes- 2 hrs before cutting into bars.

-Serve and ENJOY!!
