Start your day off right with these amazing protein packed chocolate waffles! They are so delicious and will keep you full and energized throughout your morning. I like to make a big batch and freeze them so my family can have them before school, sports, work...or dessert with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
Ingredients:
-1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
-1/4 cup Chocolate Hemp Protein Powder
-1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
-1 tablespoon baking powder
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 1/2 oat milk
-4 tablespoons of salted butter (softened)
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-2 tablespoon light brown sugar
-3 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
-Powdered sugar to garnish
Next Step:
-Preheat your waffle maker.
-In a large bowl whisk the butter and brown sugar together.
-Add in the eggs and whisk.
-Then add in the oat milk and vanilla extract and whisk.
-Next add in the flour, hemp protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
-Stir in the chocolate chips.
-Add the batter to your waffle maker.
-When done sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.
-Serve with fresh berries and pure maple syrup.
