Peppermint Bark!


How I love peppermint bark!!! It is so delicious, easy to make, and immediately puts me in the holiday spirit! I love to make a big batch during the holidays and give them out as gifts to my family and friends.


Ingredients:

-Candy Canes (crushed)

-2 bags dark chocolate chips

-1 bag white chocolate chips

-1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

Next Step:

-Take out a small baking sheet and line with parchment paper.

-Crush your candy canes and set aside.

-Pour 1 bag of dark chocolate chips into a glass bowl. Microwave on 30 second increments making sure to stir after each time. Repeat until melted.

-Pour the melted chocolate on the parchment paper and spread out.

-Put in the freezer for 5 minutes.

-Pour 1 bag of white chocolate chips into a glass bowl. Microwave on 30 second increments making sure to stir after each time. Repeat until melted.

-Once melted add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract and stir to mix in.

-Pour over the dark chocolate and spread out. Put back in the freezer for 5 minutes.

-Pour 1 bag of dark chocolate chips into a glass bowl. Microwave on 30 second increments making sure to stir after each time. Repeat until melted.

-Pour over the white chocolate and spread out.

-Sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top.

-Refrigerate for 1 hour.

-Take out and break into pieces.

-Serve and ENJOY!!
