Is there anything better than thin, crispy, parmesan coated, truffle fries!?! These fries are the perfect addition to any dinner, BBQ, and party. I often serve them as an appetizer to nosh on, and is the perfect snack to put out while watching a game!
It is usually the first thing to go!
Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 35-45 minutes
Ingredients:
-3 Russet Potatoes (sliced thin)
-2 tbsp olive oil
-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/2 teaspoon paprika
-1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/4 teaspoon pepper
-1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (packed)
-2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
-1 tablespoon truffle powder (you can use more or less)
Next Step:
-Preheat oven to 375 F.
-Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
-Wash, dry, and chop your potatoes- leave skin on.
-In a large bowl add your potatoes, drizzle with olive oil.
-Add the garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and pepper.
-Mix so all of the fries are coated with olive oil and seasoned.
-Add the fries to the baking sheets. You want to make sure they are not overlapping, otherwise they will steam and take a lot longer to crisp.
-After 15 minutes take out your baking sheet and flip your fries. Put back in the oven for another 15 minutes.
-At the 30 minute mark, start to check on your fries and flip. (all ovens are different). If they are drying out you can sprinkle a very little bit of olive oil on them.
-Let bake an additional 5-10 minutes until they are crispy.
-Put fries in a large bowl and sprinkle on the salt, chopped parsley, and parmesan cheese. Mix.
-For the last step add the truffle powder and a sprinkle of pepper.
-Mix and serve.
-ENJOY!!
