Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Wreaths!

I turned one of my favorite cookies into Christmas Wreath Cookies!! These cookies are just as delicious with M&M's and sprinkles! My kids loved making these with me and they definitely put us in the holiday spirit. I can't wait to make these again to add to our dessert table on Christmas!

Ingredients: -1/2 cup salted butter (softened) -1/4 cup light brown sugar

-1/2 cup dark brown sugar -1/4 cup granulated sugar -1 egg -1 teaspoon vanilla extract -1 cup flour -1 cup quick rolled oats -1/2 teaspoon baking soda -1/4 teaspoon baking powder -1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon -1/4 teaspoon salt -3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

-Red and green M&M's (I prefer mini M&M's, but either work)

-Red and green sprinkles

Next Step: -Preheat oven to 350 F and lightly butter a mini bundt cake pan. -In a large bowl add the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar. Whisk to combine. -Add in the egg and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine and set aside. -In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk to combine. -Pour the wet ingredients into the flour/oat mixture. Stir with a spoon to combine. -Once combined add in the chocolate chips and stir. -Sprinkle a couple M&M's and sprinkles on the bottom of each mini bundt mold.

-Then add the cookie dough on top and gently push down. (Make sure to not cover the center hole)

-Add a few M&M's on top to decorate the wreath cookie.

-Bake for 10 minutes.

-Take out and let rest for 10 minutes. (If the dough has risen over the hole, I gently push it back using a toothpick or the bottom of a chopstick. That way it will still have the wreath shape. -Let cool for 10 minutes.

-Serve and ENJOY!!!

*This recipe will yield 20-22 cookie wreaths.
