These Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies are amazing! These cookies did not last long in my house! I love them right out of the oven because I can't resist a warm, chocolatey, gooey cookie!
Ingredients:
-1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
-1/4 teaspoon baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/2 cup salted butter (softened)
-1/2 cup light brown sugar
-1/2 cup granulated sugar
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1 egg
-1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
-Nutella
Next Step:
-Scoop out 12 teaspoons (individual) of Nutella and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.
-Freeze for 30 minutes.
-Preheat your oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-In a small bowl add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir and set aside.
-In another bowl add the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Using a hand or stand mixer, mix until combined.
-Then add in the egg and vanilla and mix.
-Slowly pour in the flour mixture and mix until combined.
-Stir in the chocolate chips.
-Take the Nutella out of the freezer.
-To form your cookies take a scoop of cookie dough (about a tablespoon and a half), and then add 1 teaspoon of frozen Nutella, and then another (smaller) scoop of cookie dough on top.
-Repeat this step until all of your cookies are formed.
-Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges are a nice golden brown color along the edges.
-Lay on a baking sheet and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
-Serve and ENJOY warm!
