I love homemade crepes! These crepes are so light and delicious, it is hard to eat only one! My family loves to add fresh strawberries and Nutella to their crepes, but you can add anything to this crepe recipe. They are easy to make and can be served for breakfast, snack, or even dessert! Enjoy!
Prep time: 5 minutes Rest time: 25 minutes Cook time: 4 minutes Yields: 4 Crepes
Ingredients:
-1/2 cup all purpose flour
-1/8 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon sugar
-1 egg
-3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons milk (I use oat milk, but any milk will work) -Nutella
-Fresh strawberries (sliced)
-Powdered sugar
Next Step:
-Combine the flour, salt, and sugar in a medium size bowl and stir.
-Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the egg.
-Pour in the milk and whisk the batter at same time.
-Set the batter aside to rest for 25 minutes.
-Heat up a large non stick pan on low heat and add a little butter.
-Add 1/4 cup of batter to your pan.
-*Quickly pick up the pan and start to swirl it around so it evenly spreads out.*
-Cook for 2 minutes and then flip. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. You will know it is done when your crepe turns a nice golden color.
-Take out and spread Nutella down the middle.
-Then add the sliced strawberries.
-Roll up your crepe and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
-ENJOY!!!
