If you are a fan of chocolate hazelnut spread than definitely make this delicious Nutella puff pastry! It is so easy to make and tastes incredible! It is perfect to serve at breakfast, brunch, or dessert. It will have your family and guests begging for more! YUM!
Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 30-33 minutes Rest time: 20 minutes
-1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
-1/2 cup nutella
-1 teaspoon cold water
-Preheat oven to 350 F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
-On a large cutting board sprinkle a little flour.
-Take out the puff pastry and sprinkle a little flour on top.
-With a roller, gently roll to smooth out the dough.
-Spread out 1/2 cup of Nutella to the puff pastry, making sure to leave an inch around the border without Nutella.
-Gently roll the dough into a log.
-Cut the log in half (length wise) so you can form 2 long pieces.
-Gently push the tops together and start to twist the pieces around each other, making sure to seal the ends together.
-Make your egg wash by combining the egg and water. Stir to mix.
-Brush the egg wash all over the Nutella twist.
-Generously sprinkle Demerara sugar all over.
-Bake for 30-33 minutes.
-Take out and let cool for 20 minutes.
-Slice and ENJOY!!
