This is the perfect treat to put a smile on anyone's face! OMG, there is nothing better than homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! They are so much healthier with no additives, and taste even better! My kids love making these with me. Their favorite part is crushing up the graham crackers! They are so easy to make and great to serve at birthday parties, movie nights, and for a sweet snack during the day. I hope you love them as much as I do!
Prep time: 10 minutes Refrigerate: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
-2 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
-1 cup peanut butter
-1 cup powdered sugar
-1 package graham crackers (you can substitute GF crackers)
-sea salt
Next Step:
-Melt the chocolate in 25 second increments in the microwave, making sure to stir frequently so the chocolate doesn't burn.
-In another bowl, slightly melt the peanut butter and stir in the powdered sugar.
-Crush the graham crackers as much as possible. I like to put them in the blender and quickly pulse.
-Combine the peanut butter and graham cracker crumbs.
-Line a muffin pan with liners.
-Add 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate to the muffin liner.
-Then combine 2 teaspoons of the peanut butter/graham cracker mixture and roll into a ball, then flatten. Place on top of the chocolate.
-Add 1 more tablespoon of the melted chocolate on top of the peanut butter/graham cracker mixture.
-Lightly sprinkle with sea salt.
-Repeat until all of the muffin liners are full.
-Refrigerate for 25-30 minutes.
-Take out and remove the liner.
-If you would like you can add an extra sprinkle of sea salt. This is optional.
-Serve and ENJOY!!! *When not eating store in the refrigerator.
