Wondering what to do with all of your apples after apple picking?!? Then make this delicious homemade applesauce! Using only 3 ingredients this healthy recipe will have you going back for seconds! It can be served warm or cold and great for anytime of the day! My kids are obsessed with this recipe and ask me to make it for them year round!!
-16 apples (assorted)
- 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
-2 tablespoons & 2 teaspoons of dark brown sugar
-Peel and chop all of the apples.
-Add the chopped apples to a large pot.
-Next, add the cinnamon and brown sugar. Mix to coat the apples.
-Simmer for 45 minutes. (Make sure you stir every 5-10 minutes)
*I like to cover the pot while cooking leaving a small opening
-Serve warm or cold. (I love it warm!:)
