Everything Ciabatta Rolls!

Is there anything better then warm homemade fresh baked bread right out of the oven?!? These ciabatta rolls are easy to make and SO delicious! I love to serve them at dinner parties, holidays, and as a side for a charcuterie board. Homemade fresh bread always makes me happy!

Ingredients:

-1 cup of warm water

-1 teaspoon of instant yeast

-2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour

-1 teaspoon of salt

-Everything seasoning

-Egg wash (1 egg and 1 teaspoon cold water)

Next Step:

-Combine the water and instant yeast. Stir and let sit for 5 minutes.

-I like to use a stand mixer for this recipe but if you don't have one you can use a hand mixer.

-Add the flour and salt to the bowl of the stand mixer.

-Add in the water and yeast mixture and mix on medium speed until a dough ball forms. This could take up to 2-3 minutes. Your dough will be sticky. (That's ok :)

-Add the dough to a large bowl and cover for 1 hour.

-After an hour, leave the dough in the bowl and carefully fold over four sides of the dough. **You do not want to push down on the dough because you can release the air bubbles that are forming. Cover and let rest for 25 minutes.

-Repeat this step 2 more times.

-Carefully take the dough out of the bowl and lay on a floured surface.

-Sprinkle a little flour on top and carefully slice 5 equal parts and gently form into an elongated roll shape. *Remember not to knead or push down on the dough.

-Cover the rolls with parchment paper and then a kitchen towel. Let the dough continue to rise for 35 minutes.

-At this point preheat the oven to 420 F. Also, add a small pot of water on the stovetop to boil. Once boiling add the water to a deep metal baking dish and put it on the bottom shelf of your oven. This will help to steam the bread while cooking. (Be sure *not to add boiling water to a glass baking dish as it could shatter*)

-Add the dough to a parchment lined baking sheet. Brush the egg wash on top and sprinkle everything seasoning on top. (This is optional)

-Bake for 20 minutes.

-Take out and let rest for 10 minutes.

-ENJOY!!!
