These double dark chocolate Reeses peanut butter brownies are incredible! They are bursting with flavors of dark chocolate and peanut butter cups! I love this twist on a traditional brownie. They are easy to make and great to serve at birthday parties, family gatherings, or for a fun after school treat!
Prep time: 8 minutes Cook time: 23 minutes Rest time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
-1 1/2 cup flour
-3/4 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
-2 large eggs
-1 cup granulated sugar
-1/2 cup salted butter (softened)
-1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
-3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
-11 mini dark chocolate Reeses peanut butter cups (quartered)
Next Step:
-Preheat oven to 350 F and line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.
-In a bowl add the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder. Whisk to combine.
-In a large mixing bowl add the sugar and softened butter. Mix with a hand or stand mixer to combine.
-Then add in the eggs and mix.
-Next add in the vanilla extract and mix.
-Pour in your dry ingredients and mix until combined. The batter will be thick.
-Fold in the chocolate chips and 1/2 of the quartered Reese peanut butter cups.
-Add the brownie batter into the baking dish and spread out to an even layer.
-Sprinkle the remaining Reeses peanut butter cups on top.
-Bake for 23 minutes.
-Take out and let rest for 15 minutes.
-Slice, Serve, and ENJOY!!!
