Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies!

New favorite cookie alert!! If you love chocolate as much as I do, then definitely give this recipe a try. These cookies are bursting with chocolate and dark chocolate chunks. Crisp on the outside and soft and chewy in the middle. They are so delicious warm right out of the oven! Enjoy!


Ingredients:

-1/2 cup salted butter (softened)

-1/3 cup dark brown sugar

-1/3 cup granulated sugar

-1 egg

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-1 cup and 2 tablespoons all purpose flour

-3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

-1/4 teaspoon salt

-1/2 teaspoon baking soda

-1 cup dark chocolate chunks

Next Step:

-Preheat oven to 350 F and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.

-In a small bowl combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Whisk to combine and set aside.

-In a large mixing bowl using a hand or stand mixer to combine the softened butter and the sugars.

-Once combined add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.

-Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix with a hand/stand mixer until just combined.

-Add in chocolate chunks. Stir to combine.

-Add 2 tablespoon size drops to the baking dish.

-Depending on size bake for 9-12 minutes. (I made mine big and cooked them for 11 1/2 minutes.

-Place on a cooling rack for 10 minutes.

-Serve and ENJOY!!!
