Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Hearts with a Graham Cracker Crust!

Its almost Valentine's Day!! I love making these delicious treats for my family and friends! The graham cracker crust paired with the dark chocolate, peanut butter, and pretzels is the best combination of flavors!! I also really love a good sweet and salty mix. They are so easy to put together and I always have a lot of hands trying to help me in the kitchen with this recipe! (Which I love when the kids get involved!!) Happy Valentine's Day!! xo

Ingredients:

-1 cup dark chocolate chips (melted)

-1/4 cup peanut butter (melted)

-1/4 cup pretzels (chopped)

-8 mini pretzels (whole)

-red sprinkles

Graham Cracker Crust:

-1 cup of graham cracker crumbs (1 package)

-1/4 cup salted butter (melted)

-2 tablespoons sugar

~You can easily make this recipe gluten free by substituting GF pretzels and GF crackers.~

Next Step:

-Preheat oven to 350 F and take out your heart shape silicone pan.

-In your blender add the graham crackers and blend on hight until it turns into crumbs.

-Pour the graham cracker crumbs into a bowl and add the sugar and melted butter. Stir until fully combined.

-Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of the graham cracker mixture to the bottom of each heart. Press down with your hands to flatten and even out.

-Bake for 7-8 minutes.

-Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Make sure to stir every 30 seconds so the chocolate doesn't burn.

-Dip 8 mini pretzels into the chocolate and then immediately into the red sprinkles. Lay the pretzels on parchment paper and place in the refrigerator.

-At this point the graham cracker hearts should be almost done! Take them out of the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.

-Then add 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate on top of each graham cracker crust.

-Shimmy the pan so the chocolate spreads out evenly covering all of the graham cracker crust.

-Sprinkle the chopped pretzels on top of the melted chocolate.

-Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.

-Melt the peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl. Stir.

-Drizzle the peanut butter on top.

-Then add 1 of the chocolate/sprinkled covered pretzels on top of the drizzled peanut butter.

-Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

-Serve and ENJOY!!!
