Dark Chocolate Caramel Oat Bake!!
This oat bake is EVERYTHING!!! Not sure if it should be considered a breakfast or dessert...either way it is delicious! The combination of oats, dark chocolate, and melted caramel will satisfy your every craving! (Well at least it does for me. hahah). This oat bake is so amazing, I hope you love it as much as I do!! xo
-1/3 cup of quick rolled oats
-1/3 cup of applesauce
-1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
-3 tablespoons oat milk (any milk will work)
-2 tablespoons flour (all purpose or GF)
-1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
-1/2 teaspoon ground flax seed
-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-2 tablespoon mini dark chocolate chips
-Ghirardelli dark chocolate caramel squares
-Preheat oven to 350F and take out 2 6oz ramekins.
-In a small bowl combine the oats, applesauce, egg, maple syrup, oat milk, flour, sugar, flax seeds, baking powder, and chocolate chips. Whisk to combine.
-Fill up both 6 oz ramekins 1/2 way with the mixture.
-Add 1 Ghirardelli square on top.
-Then add 2 heaping tablespoons of batter on top of each ramekin.
-Bake for 26 minutes.
-Take out and if desired add 1 more Ghirardelli square on top.
-Serve and ENJOY immediately!
