Croissant French Toast!


Croissant French toast is the perfect way to start Sunday mornings! The rich buttery taste of the croissant adds such an amazing flavor to your traditional French toast. This dish is easy and quick to make and is so delicious! Be sure to serve it with a lot of fresh fruit and maple syrup. Have a great day! xo


Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

-2 large croissants

-2 eggs

-1/4 cup oat milk

-1 tsp ground cinnamon

-1/2 tsp sugar

-1/2 tsp vanilla extract

-Powdered sugar

-Fresh fruit to garnish

-Pure maple syrup


Next Step:

-Slice the croissants in half.

-In a wide flat dish scramble the eggs.

-Add in the oat milk, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla extract.

-Mix to combine.

-On the stovetop add a small tab of butter to a non stick pan or skillet on low heat.

-Quickly dip the croissants into the egg mixture front and back.

-Lay cut side down and cook for 3-4 minutes and then flip for 2 more minutes.

-Watch carefully so your croissant doesn't burn.

-Take out and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

-Serve with a side of fresh fruit and maple syrup.
