These chunky chocolate chip cookies are the BEST!! They are bursting with dark chocolate chips and are so thick and chewy! I love having these warm out of the oven with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Yum!
Ingredients:
-2 cups all purpose flour
-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/2 cup salted butter (room temperature)
-1/4 cup granulated sugar
-3/4 cup dark brown sugar
-2 eggs
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1 cup dark chocolate chips
Next Step:
-Preheat oven to 375 and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
-In a small bowl add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir to combine and set aside.
-In a large bowl add the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Using a hand or stand mixer combine.
-Then add in the eggs and vanilla and mix.
-Slowly add in the flour mixture while mixing. Mix just until the cookie dough forms.
-Pour in the chocolate chips and gently stir them into the cookie dough. (Don't over mix)
-Divide the dough into 6 large balls and place them on the parchment paper.
-Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
-Preheat the oven to 375 F.
-Bake for 21 minutes.
-Let cool for 15 minutes.
