Oh how I LOVE everything about this cookie! These dark chocolate caramel stuffed chocolate chip cookies are incredible. They have a crisp outside and as soon as you bite in, the center is oozing with melted dark chocolate and caramel!! It is so delicious!!!! This dessert is perfect for surprising your loved ones on Valentine's Day or for anyone who adores chocolate chip cookies!!!

Ingredients: -1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (*you can substitute GF flour to make them GF) -1/2 teaspoon baking soda -1/4 teaspoon baking powder -1/8 teaspoon salt -1/2 cup salted butter (room temperature) -1/2 cup brown sugar -1/2 cup granulated sugar -1 teaspoon vanilla extract -1 egg -1/2 cup mini dark chocolate chips -Dark Chocolate Caramels ~Click the link below to order my favorite caramel chocolates!)

I love Chocolove xoxoxo filled salted caramel in dark chocolate -1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips for the drizzle.

Next Step: -Preheat oven to 350 F and lightly butter a heart shaped cookie pan. -In a small bowl combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to combine. -In a large mixing bowl add the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix with a hand mixer until combined. -Then add the in the vanilla and egg. Mix to combine. -Slowly add in the flour mixture and mix. -Stir in the chocolate chips. -Fill each heart with 1/2 tbsp of cookie batter.

-Then place your dark chocolate caramel on top.

-Then add another 1/2 tbsp of cookie batter on top. -Bake for 16 minutes or until the edges turn a light golden brown. -Let cool for 10 minutes and then take out of the pan.

-For the chocolate drizzle, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave making sure to stir every 25 seconds until melted.

-Then using a spoon I drizzle the melted chocolate on each cookie. -Serve and ENJOY!!! *For additional recipes please follow me on Instagram @a.sprinkle.of.sweet
