I love these Butter Toffee Pecan Blondies! They are not too sweet and have an amazing nutty flavor. The combination of butter toffee pecans and chocolate chips is SO good!
You can serve these with brunch, afternoon coffee, or dessert. YUM!
Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 20 minutes Rest time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
-1 cup all purpose flour
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1/2 cup salted butter (melted)
-1/4 cup granulated sugar
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1 egg
-1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips
-1/2 cup butter toffee pecans (chopped) ~I love the kettle cooked butter toffee pecans from Whole Foods.
Next Step:
-Preheat oven to 350 F and line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.
-In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter.
-Then add in both sugars and mix with a hand mixer.
-Add the vanilla and egg and continue to mix.
-Add in the flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until combined.
-Add the chocolate chips and butter toffee pecans. Stir to combine.
-Add the mixture to the baking dish and spread out to make sure it is even.
-Top off with a couple extra pecans.
-Bake for 20 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are a light golden color.
-Let rest for 15 minutes.
-Slice and serve.
