These pancakes are such a great way to start your morning off right! They are flavorful, hearty, and healthy! The bananas and oats will keep you satisfied and full throughout the morning.
Prep time: 5 minutes. Cook time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
-1 banana
-3/4 cup rolled oats (option of GF oats)
-1/4 cup and 3 tablespoons of oat milk
-2 tablespoons of honey
-1 teaspoon of pure maple syrup
-1/4 cup flour (you can substitute GF flour)
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1 egg
-1/4 salt
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon baking soda
-3 tablespoons of mini dark chocolate chips
Next Step:
-In a bowl combine your oats and oat milk. Mix and set aside.
-In another small bowl mash up your banana and add the honey, maple syrup, vanilla, egg, and whisk until combined.
-To your bowl of wet ingredients add the flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Whisk until combined. Then add your oat and milk mixture.
-Whisk for 1 minute.
-Fold in your dark chocolate chips.
-In a skillet add a little butter and cook your pancakes. I like to cook mine on low heat a few minutes on each side. Check to make sure they are cooked through.
-Add a sprinkle of powdered sugar and serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
