Baked Lemon Garlic Shrimp w/Asparagus!

This is such a great weeknight meal, because it is ready within 15 minutes! You can pair this meal with pasta or eat it as is. I love a good garlic lemon shrimp! This meal is so flavorful, easy to put together, and is loved by everyone! (especially the kids, which is always a bonus! :):)

Prep: 8 minutes Cook time: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients:

-1 1/2 lbs of cleaned and deveined shrimp

-1/4 cup salted butter (melted)

-2 tablespoons white wine

-5 large cloves of garlic (2 chopped fine)

-3 tablespoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice

-3 thin slices of lemon

-Sprinkle of: salt, pepper, paprika, red pepper flakes

-2 tablespoons of chopped parsley

Asparagus:

-Buy a bunch of large thick asparagus

-olive oil

-1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

-sprinkle of salt, pepper, and garlic powder

Next Step:

-Preheat oven to 350 F

-Take the tails off your shrimp and add them to a large baking dish. (don't layer your shrimp)

-Pour the melted butter over the shrimp.

-Add the chopped garlic.

-Pour the wine over the shrimp.

-Pour the lemon juice over the shrimp.

-Add the extra 3 cloves of garlic (skin on) to your baking dish.

-Sprinkle salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes over your shrimp.

-Add the 3 slices of lemon to your baking dish.

-On another small baking dish, add your asparagus.

-Drizzle olive oil over your asparagus, and season with parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

-Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Shrimp sizes vary, you will know your shrimp are done when they turn pink.

-Take out your shrimp and sprinkle the fresh parsley over your cooked shrimp. Spoon the sauce over your shrimp. Also, take out your asparagus. *(note-if you buy thin/skinny asparagus, they will cook faster)

-Serve immediately.

-ENJOY!!
