This easy to make bread is perfectly crisp and the outside and soft on the inside. It is just 4 ingredients!
Prep time: 5 minutes (let sit overnight for 10-18 hours). Cook time: 40-45 minutes
-3 cups all purpose flour
-1 1/2 cups of warm water
-3/4 teaspoon of yeast
-1 teaspoon salt
Make sure to have a Dutch Oven Pot
-Combine the flour, yeast, salt, and water. Mix with a spoon for one minute until a shaggy dough forms. (no kneading!)
-Cover and let sit overnight 10-18 hours.
-Once ready to bake, the dough will look bubbly on top and will have risen.
-Put the dough on a floured surface and form a ball (add a sprinkle of flour when needed to flip and form the dough.
-Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
-While the dough is resting, place the dutch oven pot into the oven and preheat to 450 F.
-Then with a sharp knife slash an X on top of your dough.
-Carefully take out your heated dutch oven and remove cover. Lightly spray the bottom of the dutch oven with olive oil and place your dough in. Cover and put in the oven to bake for 30 minutes.
-Remove cover and bake for an additional10-15 minutes to continue cooking. During this step the bread will form a nice golden color.
-Remove the bread from the dutch oven and let sit and cool on a baking rack before slicing.
-Serve and ENJOY!!!
