Is there a better way to start your morning than with a healthy, delicious, apple cinnamon breakfast oat bake!!?! I love this oat bake warm right out of the oven. It smells Amazing, and is packed with healthy oats, flaxseed, apples, cinnamon, oat milk, and more.
Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 25 minutes Serves: 1
Ingredients:
-1/2 cup quick rolled oats (can substitute GF oats)
-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon ground flaxseed
-pinch of salt
-1 egg
-1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1/4 cup oat milk
-1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
-1 tablespoon apple cinnamon applesauce
-1/4 cup chopped Granny Smith apples (skin removed)
-cinnamon sugar
Next Step:
-Preheat oven to 350 F and lightly butter a 6oz ramekin.
-In a small bowl combine the oats, cinnamon, baking powder, flaxseeds, and salt. Mix with a spoon.
-In another bowl combine the egg, vanilla, milk, maple syrup, and applesauce. Whisk until combined.
-Pour the wet ingredients into the oat mixture and stir until fully combined.
-Gently fold in the chopped apples.
-Pour into the ramekin (to the top) and lightly sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
-Bake for 27 minutes.
-Serve and ENJOY!!!
