These almond butter protein bites are perfect for a quick healthy snack! They are packed with protein, fiber, vitamin E, healthy fats, antioxidants, and magnesium! I love the crunch from the sliced almonds and the sweetness from the mini chocolate chips! They are perfect for on the go and a great snack anytime of the day!
Prep time: 5 minutes Refrigerate 30 minutes
Ingredients:
-1 cup quick rolled oats (you can substitute GF oats)
-1/2 cup almond butter
-1/4 cup sliced almonds
-3 tablespoons honey
-1 tablespoon flaxseeds
-1/4 cup dark mini chocolate chips
Next Step:
-In the microwave warm up the honey and almond butter until you can mix it together.
-In a large bowl add the oats, flaxseed, sliced almonds, and chocolate chips. Stir to combine.
-Pour the almond butter/honey mixture over the oat mixture and stir to combine.
-Form into bitesize balls and place on a small baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
-Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
-Serve and ENJOY!!!
