Baked Shrimp Oreganata!


This is such a great weeknight meal! It is ready in less than 20 minutes and is SO delicious! This Baked Shrimp Oreganata is bursting with flavor. It is seasoned with lots of oregano, pepper, garlic, lemon zest, parmesan, breadcrumbs, white wine and more! It is a great dish for the whole family to enjoy!


Prep time: 8 minutes Cook time: 10 minutes

-1 1/2 lb cleaned and deveined shrimp

-3 tablespoons dry white wine

-2 tablespoons salted butter (melted)

-1 teaspoon oregano

-1/4 teaspoon pepper

-1/4 teaspoon salt

-1/4 red pepper flakes

-3 cloves garlic (chopped)

-1 teaspoon lemon zest

-3 tablespoons parmesan (grated)

-3 tablespoons Italian style breadcrumbs (you can substitute GF breadcrumbs)

-1 tablespoon parsley (chopped)

-Lemon wedges for serving


Next Step:

-Preheat oven to 450 F and set aside a large baking dish.

-Add the shrimp to a large bowl.

-Pour the white wine and melted butter on the shrimp and stir to combine.

-Sprinkle the oregano, pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, garlic, and lemon zest on the shrimp. Mix to combine.

-Then add the parmesan and breadcrumbs. Mix to coat the shrimp.

-Add the shrimp to the baking dish and spread out so they are not overlapping.

-Bake for 8-11 minutes until the shrimp is pink and done.

-Broil on high for 2 minutes to crisp up the breadcrumbs.

-Sprinkle the parsley on top and serve with a lemon wedge.

-Serve and ENJOY!!
